'’21 Irrefutable laws of leadership’’ – Top 3 reasons you might want to read this book

by John Maxwell

One thing is certain, all hype and no results won't sustain your leadership credentials. Sooner or later, you've got to produce results.

I will do my best to recommend and review all books and resources that can do just that. Help you produce results.

Top 3 reasons why you might want to read this book

Reason No 1. The content is not only good, but practical. Leadership is an apprentice trade. You learn most of it on the job, by trying things out, observing how you do, and adjusting how you do things in the future based on results and feedback. This book will help guide you in the right direction.

Reason No. 2. There's a section on applying a particular lesson to your life at the end of each chapter There's also a law called "The Law of Process" that reminds you that "Leadership develops daily, not in a day."

Reason No.3: Maxwell also stresses the importance of training your successor, and this book should help you see how. Not many books touch on this important issue, and if you are real leader you care what happens ‘’after you.’’

Top 3 reasons why you might want your people to read this book

1. Your people will have to think about how to earn their leadership. Maxwell states (and I learned it hard way) that leadership cannot be appointed or assigned. It has to be earned. A true leader is defined by the people who they attract, not by a title or rank.

2. The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership gives them a great starting point for learning. They might as well begin their journey by reading top expert with thirty years of experience. People reported this book helped them at the beginning of their management career.

3. It can help them across different disciplines or other areas of life – sports, friends, play and you could be the one who inspired them or moved them into action by passing this book to them.

As Maxwell says “The true meaning of leadership is influence - nothing more, nothing less." And may I add, What is the better way to influence someone than by helping them improve their life?

John C. Maxwell is known as America’s expert on leadership, speaks to hundreds of thousands of people each year.

PS: All books I am reviewing are already on my shelf in SUCCESS LIBRARY, where you can also find more details about each book, or order it whenever you want.

I am looking forward to your feedback, ideas, examples on whatever helped you in any way. I might try it, or recommend it to others. It does not have to be about books. You might want to share what did not work out, and that is helpful, too.

Thanks and please share any thoughts by posting your comments.

Why not improve my life that way?

Ljiljana, or for all my non-Serbian friends, generous mentors, precious business associates, inspiring clients and dear readers
